Chris Feuillade's Biography

Chris Feuillade was born in London in 1949 and educated in the UK, receiving a BA from the University of
Oxford in 1972, and a PhD from the University of Manchester in 1977. He became a Christian as a student
through the ministry of the Oxford Inter-Collegiate Christian Union. He subsequently joined the Church of
England, and sees himself as an evangelical Anglican. In 1981 he came to live and work in the USA: from
October 1981-March 1983 in New York City; and from April 1983-October 2006 in Mississippi. Chris
believes that God has used his years in the USA to bring spiritual growth in his life, both in terms of his
personal walk with God, and in ministry. First at Christ Church, Bay St Louis, and later at Trinity Church,
Pass Christian, Chris has served the Lord in music ministry, Sunday school teacher, bible study leader,
vestryman, catechism teacher, and Alpha course discussion group participant and leader.

Since 1998, through the ministry of the Keswick Convention in England, Chris believes God has been
calling him to overseas missions. In 2000, he became involved in yearly short-term missions to Honduras.
In 2003, he applied to the South American Missionary Society to enter into long-term missionary work,
and in October 2006, after a lengthy period of discernment, he left to go to Santiago, Chile, to begin his
ministry.  Chris works in the music and bible teaching ministry of Iglesia del Salvador (“Church of the
Savior”) in the San Joaquin district of Santiago, and also teaches acoustics at a local university where he
works to reach both students and professors for Christ.

Iglesia del Salvador was formed in an old building and is
located in a working class neighborhood.  The congregation
works hard to survive in the Chilean economy and the
church represents a precious part of their lives.
